Mike Hamilton
Michael David Hamilton, 71, passed away at 1:56p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, in his home with his family present in Marshfield, MO.
Mike married Renee Dillion on February 1,1974. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age while attending High Street Baptist Church. Later he joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church and became a Trustee, where his membership remained. He honored his country by serving in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He spent many years as a dairy farmer and later retired as a journeyman grinder at Paul Mueller. Family and friends say he was best known for “never knowing a stranger.” In his free time, if he wasn’t with family or friends, he spent his time fishing.
He was proceeded in death by William (Bill) Hamilton, father; Orene (Davis) Hamilton, mother; Michelle (Hamilton) Grogan, daughter; Beverly (Bear) Dillion, Mother-in-law.
Survivors include wife Renee (Dillion) Hamilton; father-in- law Bob Dillion; four sons Michael Hamilton JR and wife Cora, Frank Hamilton and wife Mary, Keith Hamilton, and Kenny Hamilton and wife Lena; One sister, Jill (Hamilton) Nunn and husband Greg, two brothers, Scott Hamilton and Greg Hamilton and wife Carolyn; Sister-in-law Amber Hamilton and husband Gary. He has 19 loving grandchildren: Aleisha Kerns, Jericca Crow, Jackie Hamilton, Ashley Harris, Kyle Black, Crystal Blood, Chaelyn Huitink and spouse Brian, Melinda Hamilton, Kimberly Rogers and spouse Peter, Cody Hamilton and spouse Jordan, Jordan Kirk, Ryan Kirk, Alex Keenan and spouse Camron, Hannah Hamilton, Andrew Hamilton and spouse Jessica, Mikhayla Hamilton, Kenzlee Hamilton, Dayton Hamilton- Grogan, and Olivia Grogan. He had 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A small service will be at Fraker Funeral Home March 24, 2022, at 4pm with visitation to follow. Internment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Rev. Bob Dillion, Rev. Gary Hamilton, and Rev. Gary Deadmon will be officiating the services.
