Harvey Tag

Harvey Lee Tag, son of Erich Reinhold Tag and Antonia Ella  (Hanke) Tag, was born January 4, 1929 in Sharp, Texas. He passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 in his home near Marshfield, MO at the age of 89.

 Harvey was a longtime dairy farmer and truck driver. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ray Tag, Roy Tag and Erich Tag, Jr.; son-in-law, Rick Finck; two sisters-in-law, Frances Tag and Goldie Roberts; and one brother-in-law, George Roberts.

 Survivors include his wife Merline; six children and their spouses, Susan Ziebarth, Jefferson City, MO, Ronny and Cherry Tag, Thorndale, TX, Richard and Jennifer Tag, Marshfield, MO, Deonne and Rick Bachmann, Dewey, OK, Dwayne Tag, Marshfield, MO and Naomi Finck, Washington, MO; one sister, Erna Addy, Pilot Hill, CA; one brother, Edwin Tag, Dallas, TX; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carol and Fred Wuensche, Thorndale, TX; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

 Funeral services, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Marshfield, will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 in the Peace Lutheran Church, Marshfield. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Niangua, MO. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday in Peace Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
