Delmar Wayne Willis, Northview, was born May 20, 1932 near Strafford, MO to Gayford and Alma (Haggard) Willis. He departed this life on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 16 days.

Delmar was a farmer, and he served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Jean Willis; three brothers, Leafford, Glenn, and Bill Willis; seven sisters, Nola Dalton, June West, Estelle Linder, Helen West, Betty Bumgarner, Loretta Barton, and Roberta Mansker; and his great-granddaughter, Lily Kroeger.

Delmar is survived by five children, Shamonia Lawson and her husband Kirk, Mountain Grove, Lyndol Willis and his wife Holly, Strafford, Norman Willis and Annemarie Grim, Marshfield, Kenneth Willis and his wife Sally, Marshfield, and Arlie Willis and his wife Sandi, Smithton, MO; a sister, Cynthia Higgins, Georgia; a brother-in-law, Homer West, Fordland; a sister-in-law, Sue Willis, Fordland; 17 grandchildren, Jarrod and Andrew Lawson, Kathryn Satterfield, Jennifer Shelton, Heather Stollfus, Samantha Ahart, Carson Willis, David and Gatlan Willis, Jessika Kroeger, Wade Willis, Lachlan and Landon Randolph, Jacob Grim, Jessica Robison, Jordan Grim, and Joanna Grim ; 34 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with full military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Welch Cemetery, Northview, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
