Audrey Emilie Henson

Audrey Emilie Henson (Wynant), age 62, passed away at 5:54 a.m. Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Audrey was born July 21st, 1960, in Woodland, California. Over the years she had moved to many states, settling down in Niangua, MO in 1987.

Audrey has been an avid animal lover her entire life. She had a way of connecting with her animals at a deeper level. Her passion was to share the unconditional love of a pet with families around the world, and doing so, she touched many lives. Audrey loved her human and furry family to the moon and back, (that’s what she would always tell her children). There wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for all of them. She was a small woman with a strong heart! Her light and love will be missed tremendously.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Hiram Henson “Wally”; four children, Audrey (Shawn) Banion, Timmy (Brandi) Parnell, Daniel (Lindsey) Henson, and Megan Henson; six grandchildren, Rachel (Tommy) Torres, Rebecca (Jacob) Aiello, Courtney Parnell, Mylie Ragsdale, Sophie, Raevynn and Trinity Northern; with two great grandchildren on the way; one brother, Michael Wynant; nieces; nephews; friends and her beloved companions, Messiah, Gutter Boy, Scruffy, Lucy, her horse Sapphire and others.

She is preceded in death by her father, Antoine Wynant; her mother, Irene Ramonde Wynant (Boudoux); her sister, Simone Kuhn; as well as more furry companions whom she is now reunited with.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., 1131 State Hwy A, Marshfield, MO 65706.

A celebration of life will follow at the Lions Club in Niangua, MO at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to care for her beloved dogs of Swiss Mountain Kennel. It was her last wish that her children will be honored. Donations may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
