Kim R. Hoffman

Kim R. Hoffman, 61, Niangua, was born June 21, 1960 in Waterloo, Iowa, to Roy Steffen and Mary (Bierman) Olsen. She passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in her home.

 Kim was the founder of Touch of Nature  Daycare, and was partner with her husband at Hoffman-Pratt Builders, Inc. She had been an advocate for women’s health issues in Washington, D.C., and had testified in front of Congress. She loved making gift baskets for people and anonymously dropping them off to bless them. She loved people deeply. She loved to give, and would give anything to anyone. Kim was a member of Landmark Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Steffen; her sister, Debbie Mertens.

Kim is survived by the loves of her life, her husband, Steve Hoffman; her children, Ivan    Hoffman and Isaiah Hoffman; she was aunt/mother to Miles Mertens; her mother, Mary Kaye Olsen Bierman; her brothers, Greg Steffen and Matt Olsen; her sisters, Colleen McKay and Regina Olsen; and her half brothers, Michael, Trace, and Jason.

 Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 in Landmark Church, Strafford, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
