Wanda L. Buck

Wanda Leoma Buck, Strafford, was born August 5, 1934 in Quinlan, TX to Grover and Laura (Penny) Monk. She passed away February 11, 2022 in her home at the age of 87.

Wanda was a rock collector. She loved her cabin at the lake in Texoma, and enjoyed the hill country, especially Llano. Her family meant everything to her, and they will miss her unconditional love and her forgiveness. Wanda was a mail clerk at Texas Instruments for 35 years. She was a member of Allen Baptist Church.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; eleven brothers and sisters; and her husband, Lavern Buck.

She is survived by her children, Colette Sorrells (Malcolm), Strafford, L.W. Buck (JoAnn Madding), Melissa, TX; grandchildren, Jessica Martindale (Gary), Kristina Buck (Daren Fuller), Lucas Buck, Melinda Scott (Donald), Rhonda Sorrells (Joe Chavez), David Sorrells, Regina Green and Bryan Sorrells; great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Martindale (Alexander Kruk), Katilyn Buck, Garrett Martindale, Kyle Martin, Cheyenne Buck, Angela Buck, Wade Sorrells, Kristen Sorrells, Jaden Scott, Shayly Scott, Cheyenne Green, Aaron Sorrells, Madison Sorrells and Dawson Sorrells.
