Jerry Lee Diehl
Jerry Lee Diehl, son of William and Mildred (Wingo) Diehl, was born in Springfield, Missouri on April 15, 1951, and passed away at his home in Marshfield, Missouri on December 4, 2018, at the age of 67.
On May 24, 1973, he was united in marriage with Diana Peak and to this union two children were born, all surviving.
Jerry worked as a water recycling specialist for Litton Corporation, in Springfield. During his free time he enjoyed watching Westerns on TV, going to cattle shows and in his younger days, hunting coons and pheasants. He also enjoyed darting through the cedar trees in his truck, to move his cattle, while having his terrified friends riding with him. This kept him incredibly entertained!
He is survived by his wife Diana, of the home; his children: Marcella Diehl, of Springfield and Jeremy Diehl, of Marshfield; his brothers and sisters: Patsy Harwood and her husband Bill, of Fair Grove, Ronnie Diehl and his wife Jan, of Clayton, North Carolina and Lyndal Diehl and his wife Pat, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters-in-law: Judy Diehl, of Hutchinson, Kansas and Barbara Diehl, of Elkland. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Rex Diehl.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, December 10, 2018, in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, with Eric Chism officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Private inurnment will follow at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery, in Elkland, Missouri. At his request, Jerry Lee Diehl was cremated at the direction of Fraker Funeral Home.
