Larry Gene Bruton

Larry Gene Bruton, son of Cecil Bruton and Mabel (Price) Bruton, was born April 29, 1945 in Springfield, MO. He passed at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 in the Cox Medical Center, South, Springfield, at the age of 72.

 Larry was a longtime maintenance man for Berean Baptist Church in Springfield and in 2011 he retired after 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Virginia Tobin and her husband Don and Joe Ann Brinkley and her husband Bob; one brother, Laverne Bruton; and his brother-in-law, Clyde Replogle.

 Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen Bruton; two sons, Larry Wayne Bruton and Lance Bruton and his wife Julie; his granddaughters, Kaitlin, Rachel, Ashley, Emily and Macey; his grandsons, Brandon, Manny, Adam and Aaron; one great-grandson, Quentin; one brother, Junior Bruton and his wife Barbara; one sister, Kathleen Replogle; one sister in law, Shirley Bruton; along with several nieces, nephews and friends and family.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Berean Baptist Church, Springfield. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday in the church.
