Anita "Colleen" Letterman

Anita “Colleen” Letterman, Marshfield, was born October 9, 1940, to Alvin Marion and Lydia Pauline (Dailey) Davis in Marshfield, Missouri. She departed this life January 9, 2024, in Marshfield Care Center at the age of 83 years.

Colleen was the head dietitian for Marshfield Schools for 35 years. She loved to cook; her specialty was rolls. She played piano and attended Niangua Freewill Baptist Church. Colleen always kept a clean house and liked to spend her free time sewing, she made numerous clothes for dolls. Colleen was very easy to please and she always took care of others. She was so loved and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Marion and Lydia Pauline (Dailey) Davis; a son, Stephen Paul Letterman; two brothers, Danny Leroy Davis, and Darrell Wayne Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Edward Letterman; one son, Randy Letterman of Marshfield; one daughter, Lori and Shawn Kindle of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Russell Letterman of Springfield; Canaan Kindle (Bailey) of St. Ann; Caleb Kindle (Elizabeth) of Springfield.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  

Interment will be in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
