Danny Lee Letterman

Danny Lee Letterman, 68, Marshfield, was born March 10, 1955 in Springfield, MO, to Jackson Isaac and Alene (Grigsby) Letterman. He departed this life on October 21, 2023 at his home.

Danny grew up on his parents’ dairy farm and milked cows for his father. He later worked for Hutchins Steel Plant, retiring from there. In his pastime, he enjoyed farming, fishing, and was an avid coon hunter. He loved spending time with his grandkids and being outside.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Margaret Buttram.

Danny is survived by his wife, Victoria (Maples) Letterman, of the home; his son, Jason Letterman and wife Elena; two daughters, Alta Brown and husband Josh, and Nicole Letterman; Eight grandchildren, Nathaniel Letterman, Danil Belyaev, and Alex Letterman, Kayden Hyder, John Bailey Brown, Preston Letterman, Isaac Twaddle, and Addison Twaddle; his siblings, Gary Letterman and wife Mary, LaVon Letterman and wife Janet, Linda Letterman and Jackie Letterman; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Friendship Cemetery, 8400 State Hwy. KK, Marshfield, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2023, from 6-7 p.m. in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
