Jimmy Dean Hodges

Jimmy Dean Hodges, Marshfield, was born March 8, 1966, to John and Joann (Layman) Hodges in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life October 20, 2023, in Mercy Hospital at the age of 57.

Jimmy was a graduate of Marshfield High School. He was a welder and supervisor. He worked in tank fabrication for many years beginning in 1988. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Jimmy took pride in his two 1969 Chevrolet Camaros. He enjoyed restoring his 1980 YZ465 Yamaha. He loved to ride dirt bikes and four wheelers.

He is preceded in death by his father; his brother Danny Hodges; and his niece, Krystal Hodges.

He is survived by his wife Debra (Sartin) Hodges; his mother, Jo Ann Hurst; his step    mother, Paula Hodges, Springfield; his sister, Julie Baird (Blaine), Houston, TX; his step siblings, Robin Cantrell, Marshfield, Wilkie Hurst (Carrie), Conway, Leslie Bragg (Quintin), Willard, Kendra Dame (John), Fair Grove; his nephews and    nieces, Devin Hodges (Sarah), Alicia Hodges,   Zoey Baird, John Holden Baird, Rowyne Hodges, Renley Hodges, Ryker Hodges, Jameslee Hurst, Jackie Hurst, and Miley Alexander.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Hunt Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday before funeral services.
