Theresa (Stokes) Letterman

Theresa (Stokes) Letterman, daughter of Robert and Theresa (Pruitt) Stokes, was born April 6, 1955 in Greenville, SC and passed away April 12, 2023 in the UF Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL, at the age of 68 years.

Theresa was united in marriage to Jerry Letterman on June 23, 1995. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was generous with her time and resources, always willing to help. Theresa was known for her smile and her willingness to be silly in order to make others laugh. She loved a good sale, and was always up for a new project or adventure. She could start up conversations with anyone, making her perfect for the work she did at Visitor Information Center of St. Augustine, from which she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Gene and Marge Sikes.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry, St. Augustine, FL; a son, Kirk Quinlivan and his wife, Aimee, and their son, Trip, of Marshfield; her daughter, Tammi Hamilton and her husband, Gary, and their children, Cooper and Ailah, Marshfield; her step-daughters, Desserree' Letterman, Kati Piercy, and Cari Brinkman; her sisters, Janie Jones and her husband, Randy, and Margie Stokes, all of St. Augustine, FL; a niece, Natasha McGee and her husband, Patrick, St. Augustine, FL; her step-mom, Bobbie Planz; her stepsisters, Missy Daher, Lori Reeves, and Lisa Spradling; and many others that loved and will miss her. 

Coffee and visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the First Baptist Church, Marshfield, with a memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association and may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
