Dewayne Martin Glenn

Dewayne Martin Glenn, Seymour, was born August 18, 1956 in Marshfield, MO to Floyd “Pot” and Laura “Chuck” (Cole) Glenn. He passed away on July 30, 2022 in Seymour, MO at the age of 65.

Dewayne was raised on the family farm in Seymour as a dairy farmer, and carried that tradition forward his whole life, eventually switching over to raise beef cattle. He enjoyed his cattle, spotted horses, chickens and all kinds of birds. He liked going to farm auctions, listening to country music, and doing a little bit of baking. He was pretty quiet around strangers, but also was very good-natured and loved joking around with family and friends.

He graduated from Seymour High School in 1975.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Daryl Glenn and Dennis R. Glenn.

He is survived by his nephews Shane Glenn (Becky Tillman) of Marshfield and Dennis F. Glenn (Melissa) of Westminster, Maryland, his nieces Kristina Glenn Carlton (David “Henry”) of Bella Vista Arkansas and Toni Cantrell-Cosgrove of Hartville, his sisters-in-law Elizabeth Glenn of Marshfield and Juanita Glenn of Seymour, and many other extended relatives.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 2 in the funeral home.
