Loretta Fay Gottsman-Smith
LORETTA FAY GOTTSMAN-SMITH, daughter of Marvin Thomas and Winnie Rose (Ingram) Gaddy, was born on August 30, 1929, in Atherton (Jackson County), Missouri and passed away on November 11, 2020, in Pecan Gap, Texas, at the age of 91.
She was united in marriage with Roy Edward Gottsman and to this union, two children were born. Roy preceded her in death on December 27, 1993. Later she married Sam Smith, who survives.
For 14 ½ years, she worked for International Shoe Company, in Marshfield, Missouri. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Sam, of Pecan Gap, Texas; two children: Thomas Gottsman, of Columbia, Missouri and Ronda Riley, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one brother: Eldon Gaddy, of Powderly, Texas and two grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Milton and David Gaddy.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in the Mission Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M., Tuesday until 9:45 A.M., at the Fraker Funeral Home, 1131 State Hwy A., Marshfield, Missouri 65706.
