Glenda "Kay" Moore

Glenda Kay Moore, Marshfield, was born on December 6, 1945, in Knoxville, TN, to James Earl Petty, Sr., and Isabella (Douglas) Petty. She departed this life on January 20, 2025, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 79.

Kay enjoyed sewing and camping. She loved to vacation in the Smokey Mountains. She was a social services worker in the child support division. Kay was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Tomas B. Hardy.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Moore, of the home; two children, Ray Moore, Jr., and wife Regina of Marshfield, and Kathryn L. Rogers and husband Richard of Wichita, KS; her brother, James Earl Petty, Jr. and wife JoAnn, of Nanicoke, PA; grandchildren, Gwendy, Sarah, Becca, Richard, Steven, Katie, Robert, Kimberly, Barbara K, Raymond, Russell, and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Michael, Alexis, Waylon, Kiera, Kyler, Kevyn, Kaden, Karter, Ethan, Kendal, Skylar, Chole, Logan, Callen, Paisley, Kaitlyn, Lillyanna, Sterling, Graysen, Spencer, Truett, Payson, Adilyn and Kadence.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Libertyville Methodist Church Cemetery, Libertyville, MO, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
