Keith Renner

 
 

Keith Junior Renner, Marshfield, was born June 17, 1934, to Clarence and Yvonne (Stone) Renner, in Seymour, MO. He departed this life May 23, 2023 in Cox South, Springfield, MO, at the age of 88 years.

The oldest of three children, Keith graduated from Fordland High School and later joined the United States Army, attaining the rank of Specialist 3rd Class. Keith was joined in marriage to Betty Ann Willis on June 16, 1957 and to this union four children were born. Keith worked at Webster Electric Co-op in Marshfield for 40 years, retiring in 1997 as Line Foreman. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved his family and hunting, fishing and farming.  He could fix just about anything and was happiest when surrounded by his family at the lake or recounting a great hunting story.  His grandchildren were such a joy to him, especially when they were together catching fish.  Deer season will never be the same without him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, David Keith Renner; and infant granddaughter, Cortney Renner.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Ann Renner; their children, Jerry Renner and Jane, Marshfield, Jamie Renner and Beth, Conway, Julie Baker and Jaysen, Ozark; seven grandchildren, Holly Baker and Dan, Marshfield, Jaci Riley and Nick, Lincoln, NE, Cory Renner and Jessica, Strafford, Jessee Renner, Sterling Heights, MI, Amber Renner, Harrison, AR, Justin Baker, Ozark, and Josh Baker, Ozark; seven great-grandchildren, Lilly McCormick, Jadyn Riley, Emery McCormick, J.R. Renner, Hayden Graves, Grayson Renner, and Willow Baker; two sisters, Emma Jean McFeeters, Marshfield,  and Anna Mae Lindsay, Marshfield; sister-in-law, Ruth Claypool, Marshfield; and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
