Ronnie Dale Rice

Ronnie Dale Rice was born June 6, 1946, to Basil (Louie) Rice and Hazel (Robert) Meyers of Marshfield. He departed this life surrounded by loved ones on January 10, 2022, at Cox South in Springfield, MO at the age of 75.

Ronnie was a welder and carpenter by trade for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, spending may deer seasons with Vonna and Jeffrey and close friends Russell Claxton, Chris Schwartz, Ronnie Johns and their families and Stepfather Robert (Bobby) Meyers in Competition, Mo. He also enjoyed following the Lady Jays basketball team and watching his grandkids play basketball and other sports. He loved getting to visit with everyone and always had a funny saying or story to leave you with a smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Vonna M. Rice; and his son Aaron Rice.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya (Josh) Delozier of Marshfield; his two sons, Ronnie Rice of Springfield, Jeff Rice of Marshfield; his daughter-in-law, Jessica Rice of Marshfield; his two brothers, Jerry (Nancy) Rice of Springfield, Larry (Dixie) Rice of Marshfield; his sister Sherrie (Duke) Davis of Rogersville; six grandchildren, Trevor Kleier, Nicole (Dakota) Waits, Raven (David) Munoz, Kenzie DeLozier and Anthony, Katelyn Ledford and Braden Rice; and six great grandchildren. He loved all of his nieces, nephews, and adopted kids and grandkids.

Memorial services will be Monday, January 17, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. with visitation to follow.
