Michael E. Shields

Michael Edward Shields, Marshfield, was born May 10, 1947 in Detroit, MI, to Harry and Ethel (DeMars) Shields. He departed this life on July 28, 2023, in his home at the age of 76.

Michael loved sailing, as well as spending time with family and going on trips with them (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico was his favorite!) He also enjoyed computers and watching basketball and football games. He had been a bank executive. He was a member of Phoenix Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Laurie Ralston.

Michael is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna (Molnar) Shields; two daughters, Julie Marie Shields (Jason), Bailey, CO, and Susan Ann Jakob (Allen), Marshfield; siblings, Judy Reiner, NC, Richard Shields, MI, and Patricia Lester, TX; and two grandchildren, Cameron Ann Jakob and Michael Allen Jakob.

Memorial services will be at a later date under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
