Shirley Lenora Rost

Shirley Lenora Rost, Marshfield, was born October 20, 1938 in West Plains, MO, to Hugh and Thelma (Durham) Bennett. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in her home.

Shirley was a homemaker, and was a member of Marshfield First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Thelma Bennett; her husband, Bob Rost; her brother, Kenneth Bennett; sister-in-law Lois Fraker; and brothers-in-law John Criger and  Joe Paul Cleir.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Keith and Cary Rost, Aurora, and Brian and Karen Rost, Marshfield; one daughter, Tracy Underwood and her friend Sammy Halford, Galena; two grandsons, Jordan Rost and Hunter Rost, both of Marshfield; sisters-in-law, Sharon Bennett, Troutdale, OR, June Criger, Marshfield, and Phoebe Cleir, Marshfield; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Donald and Leona Rost, Marshfield, E.L. and Delores Rost, Marshfield, and Don Fraker, Marshfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Marshfield First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday in the church.
