Shirley Jean Wells

Shirley Jean Wells, Marshfield, was born June 5, 1937, in Red Top, MO to Ray and Sybil Marie (Bruton) Coursey. She departed this life October 18, 2022, in her home at the age of 85.

Shirley enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She also had a great love for animals, especially her dogs. She was a great seamstress and cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Wells; her brother-in-law, Scotty Kasterke; her mother and father-in-law, Adrain and Versie Wells; her nephew, Eric Kasterke.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Replogle, and her husband Rex, of Marshfield, and Susan Franco, of Battlefield; two grandchildren, Houston Replogle and Melissa Franco; her sisters-in-law, Linda Galbraith, Judy Kasterke; her brother-in-law, Gene Wells; a host of nieces and nephews; she is also survived by a special cousin, Barbara Vincent, who was more like a sister to her; she is also survived by Barbara’s children, Lana Kiser and John, and Greg Vincent, and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude or the Humane Society and may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
