William Deane Stanfield

William Deane Stanfield, a talented photographer, artist and lifelong resident in the Springfield, MO area died unexpectedly in the early hours of Friday, May 26th, 2023, peacefully in his sleep at the age of 43 years.

William is survived by his parents, Robert and Yvonne Stanfield of Marshfield, MO; his brother, David Stanfield and his wife Amy of Springfield, MO; his sister, Carrie Nelson and her husband John and their daughter, Grace of Marshfield, MO; and his grandmother Lola Hill of Springfield, MO.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Lorenzo Stanfield; his grandparents, Walter E and Ruthyvonne Petremen; and his uncle George Stanfield.

William was born November 17, 1979, in Waukegan, Illinois. He moved with his family at the age of six to Marshfield, MO where he lived until he graduated from Marshfield High School in 1998. After graduation he attended Vatterott College in Springfield, MO to become a CMA and started working at CBCO (Community Blood Center of Ozarks) in Springfield, MO. He loved being outdoors, camping, or floating. He enjoyed cooking and listening to music. He also liked gardening and landscaping.

Memorial services will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Nazarene, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO.
