Avis Marie Forrester

Avis Marie Forrester, daughter of Peter Cedrick Wilkerson and Rubina (Hendricks) Wilkerson Young, was born June 18, 1939 in Conway, MO. She passed away at 3:09 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home in Springfield at the age of 79.

Avis was a homemaker and worked many jobs. She attended Lakeside Family Worship Center in Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Peter Bosley; four sisters, Geneva Burk, Mary Page, Margie Vandelind and Nora Lee Young; and one granddaughter, Shelley Hall.

Survivors include two sisters, Phyllis Williams, Marshfield and Beverly Taylor, Marshfield; one brother, Robert Wilkerson, Kansas; three sons, Richard Hall, Bluefield, WV, and Brian  Bosley and Steven Bosley, both of Springfield: two grandchildren, Jayme Sweigart, Strafford, VA and Jordynn Bosley, Dallas, TX ; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery, Conway. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
