Anita Stoops

Anita Jane Stoops, Marshfield, was born December 23, 1951 in Strafford, MO to Guy Thomas and Elva (Poynor) Todd. She departed this life on June 5, 2022 in Cox South Hospital at the age of 70.

Anita enjoyed crafts, especially cross stitch. She was a Fair Grove Eagles basketball fan. She had fainting goats, which entertained her nieces and nephews. Anita’s family meant everything in the world to her, and she loved her dogs, Baby Girl, Christmas, and Bear. Anita was a Baptist. She had worked as a dishwasher for 76 and TA truck stop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Stoops; her siblings, Tommy Todd, Viola Kepley, Helen Kepley, and Archie Todd.

Anita is survived by her siblings, Bobby Gene Todd and wife Debbie, Strafford; her sister-in-law, Georgia Todd, Marshfield; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
