Pat is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Summers, of Conway; brother, Jim McGrath and wife Thelma, of Springfield; sister in-law Nancy Mackey, of Philipsburg; brother in-law John Shaddy of Conway; four daughters, Leslie Lamkins, of Marshfield, Lori Skidmore and husband Tom, of Conway, Melanie Archer and husband Clint, of Conway, and Shannon Deckard, of Conway; twelve grandchildren, Seth and wife, Victoria Cade, Ethan, Presley, Haley and husband, Jeremy, Cody and fiancé, Scott, Creed, Maddie and fiancé, Lane, Ellie, Cade, Blake, Kale, and Kole; three great-grandchildren Reed, Rubi, and Robbie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pat grew up in Marshfield, Missouri, and graduated high school with the class of 1965. On September 1st, 1967, she was united in marriage to Larry Summers. They would have celebrated 56 years of marriage this September. Larry and Pat were blessed with five children throughout their marriage and raised each of them on the Summers’ dairy farm, in Conway, Missouri. On August 24th, 1990, they lost their son, Rob Summers, at the age of 18 in a tragic farming accident. This loss was one that Pat’s heart never quite recovered from—it was only through the love of those around her and her faith in God that she was able to carry on.

Pat was a devout follower of Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. This faith produced an unconditional love and genuine kindness that overflowed into those around her. She faithfully attended Eureka Methodist Church up until her final days. Pat enjoyed music, attending lunches with friends, taking walks, baking for her family, and attending her grandchildren’s ballgames. She never missed a game and made sure all of her grandchildren knew how deeply they were loved. Pat was a gentle soul that led a life full of strength, kindness, and compassion. Knowing that she is whole again in the arms of Jesus and reunited with her son, Rob, fills all who knew her with an unexplainable sense of peace. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
