Helen Louise Taylor, daughter of  Roge Fender and Louise (Brugger) Fender was born September 30, 1931 in  Springfield, MO.  She passed away at 12:19 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Springfield at the age of 91.

Helen was the longtime secretary and active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clinton in 2006;one grandchild, Savannah Elam; eight brothers and sisters, Everett Fender, Wallis Fender, Bonnie Fender, Ola Grace Bassman, Dorothy Day, Jackie Baron and her husband Tom, Maxine Pursseley and Pauline Storie.

Survivors include one son, Michael Taylor and his wife Lyndsay, Bull Head, AZ; three daughters, Jeanne Wand, St. Louis, Susie Van Pelt and her husband Jeff, Springfield and Carolyn Haire and her husband Randy, Strafford; 13 grandchildren, Cassandra May, Amanda Brown, Serenity Taylor, Erica Chambers, Neysa Chambers, Adam Chambers, Gabriel Chambers, Joshua Van Pelt, Mariah Van Pelt, Landon Van Pelt, Sarah Irwin, Ellen Haire and Patrick Haire; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike Fender and his wife Loretta, Springfield; one sister-in-law, Ann Fender, Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Helen’s family would like to say THANK YOU to Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care for the care provided to mom over the last seven years, also to Access Hospice, Amy Dykman, Rachelle Seaton, Tonya, Misty and Shelly.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery.

Rosary services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with visitation to follow.
