Jerry L. Wahl

Jerry Lester Wahl, Georgetown, TX, was born August 1, 1954 in Waterloo, IA to Joe and Joan (Smith) Wahl. He departed this life on December 28, 2022 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 68.

Jerry loved his job as a siding applicator. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, riding his Harley, and shooting pool with Claude. He was a member of Sunrise Christian Church.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Paul Irish.

He is survived by his wife, D.D. Wahl, of the home; his children, Jeremy Wahl (Eilleen), Independence, MO, Heather Leann Richardson (Travis), Marshfield, Sarah Burks (Adam), Marshfield, and James Irish, Springfield; his brother, John Wahl (Amy), Laporte City, IA; and nine grandchildren, Kaleigh, Jackson, Jordan, Kaleah, William, Zackery, Ahanu, Anawa, and Akyu.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2023, at Sunrise Christian Church, Marshfield. Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
