Jerry Woodrow Wilson, Marshfield, was born March 17, 1939 in Athens, Ohio, to Woodrow and Arvilla (Phillips) Wilson. He departed this life on June 10, 2023, in the Marshfield Care Center at age 84.

Jerry retired from the United States Air Force, and later worked for the federal government until final retirement. He loved to travel, going on cruises and taking many trips abroad. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and all types of music. Jerry was a huge sports fan, especially Ohio State and the Chiefs. He was an avid reader. He loved his family and getting together with them. He always wanted to see the good in people.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jennifer Sichel; his grandson, Richard Brian Eady; brother-in-law, Fred Conner; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Wilson,

Jerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth (O’Nail) Wilson, of the home; his children, Deborah Wakefield and husband Bob, Lancaster, PA, Teresa Eady and husband Richard, Strafford; his siblings, Arlene Conner, Shreveport, LA, Sandy Wilson, Lucerne Valley, CA, Tom Wilson, Lancaster, OH, and Steve Wilson and wife Jenny, Granite Falls, NC; four grandchildren, Jerry Graeter and wife Robin, Kelly Bruner and husband John, Shannon Harden, and Shawn Eady; six great-grandchildren, Shane Graeter, Brynn Graeter, Taya Graeter, Kelce  Bruner, Brody Harden, and Makayla Harden.

He will be missed greatly and loved and cherished always.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
