Barbara Bateman

Barbara Jean Bateman, Marshfield, was born January 12, 1940 in Joplin, MO to Hubert and Fannie (Garoutte) Wingo. She departed this life on November 29, 2022 in Marshfield Care Center at the age of 82.

Barbara had worked as a med tech at Webco Manor. She was a member of Black Oak Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gayle Bateman, of the home; her son, Milton Riley Knowles, Fulton; her daughter, Cynthia Witherspoon, Springfield; four stepchildren; one grandchild; her sister, Peggy Wright and husband Howard, Marshfield.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 6058 State Hwy KK, Rogersville, MO 65742. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
