Andy Myers

James Andrew “Andy” Myers, son of James “Jimmie” and Martha (Andreatta) Myers, was born October 7, 1963 in Springfield, MO. He passed away, with his family and friends at his bedside, at 4:43 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 in his home in Marshfield.

Andy was a retired computer programmer and cattle farmer. During his early years, he worked at Stanley’s Pharmacy and was a disc jockey for the Marshfield radio station. Andy had also been an entertainer at Silver Dollar City. He was a 1982 Marshfield High School graduate. Following graduation, he attended DeVry University in Texas. He was a member of the Marshfield First Baptist Church. Andy was fun loving, and a people person. He loved Marshfield and the people in it. Andy had a heart for helping others, especially children. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie; and two sisters, Katrina Jo and Mary Michelle.

Survivors include his mother, Martha, Marshfield; two sisters and their husbands, Valerie Cooper and Jim, Branson and Angela Stephens-Sauber and Darold Sauber, Springfield; one nephew Drake Stephens, Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Marshfield First Baptist Church, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
