John Benton Davis

John Benton Davis, Davenport, IA, was born February 5, 1930, in Bruner, MO. He departed this life on September 21, 2023, at the age of 93.

John had worked as a crane operator. He served in the United States Army.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Ruth Etta (Bradon) Davis; his son, Eddie Ray Davis; infant son Freddie Davis and infant daughter, Leason Davis; his siblings, Norman Davis, Marie Burke, Bill Davis, Mae Adamson, Nolan Davis and Doyle Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret (Snider) Davis, Davenport, IA; his son, Blake Davis and wife Lisa, Port Byron, IL; his brother, Donald Davis and wife Bonnie, Fordland; two grandchildren, Lance Davis and wife Kaci, and Zach Davis and wife Cassey.

Services will be at 10 AM, Friday, October 6, 2023 in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fordland Cemetery.
