James Timothy Herman

James “Jamie” Timothy Herman, Rogersville, was born June 7, 1960, in Marshfield, Missouri, to John Leo Herman and Priscella Mae George. He departed this life September 19, 2023, at the age of 63 in Cox South Hospital.

Jamie loved gathering with family to spend time together. He treasured the time he spent with his grandkids. Jamie was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had “redneck” ingenuity. He was a true servant and would help anyone. He had a good relationship with his family and none of them could say a bad word about him. The spirit of God shown through Jamie. He lived what he believed.

Jamie served in the United States Army, and he truly loved his country. He was a correctional officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Catfish Warriors.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Priscella Fowler; his stepbrothers, Greg Whidmeyer, and Newell Ray Greer.

He is survived by his life partner, Loretta M. Faulkner; his children, Cassandra Clark (Jared), Ozark, Melissa Herman (Nate Palmer), Springfield, Jesse Herman (Sarah), Ozark; his siblings, Joseph Herman (Teresa), Bolivar, John Herman (Joyce), Marshfield, Ernie Herman (Vonda), Springfield, Sue Anne Cottrell (Wayne), Collins, Tina McNelley (Richard), Centerton, AR, Katrina Letterman, Marshfield; his father, Leo Herman (Delma “Dee”), Marshfield; his step-father, Ray Fowler, Marshfield; his stepsisters, Bonnie Brinkley, Marshfield, Coral Lea Myers, Republic; six grandchildren, Keaton, Ian, Denver, Wyatt, Jaycee, Tucker; his special girl, “Blondie”; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. before funeral services Saturday.

Interment will be at a later date in Fordland Cemetery.
