Frank Albert Ipock
Frank Albert Ipock, Seymour, was born April 27, 1930, in Seymour, Missouri, to Fred and Ruby (Deckard) Ipock. He departed this life September 13, 2023, in his home at the age of 93 surrounded by family.
He met the love of his life at the early age of seventeen, he married her on October 10, 1947. They lived a very happy blessed life together for over 75 years.
Frank was a lifelong Seymour resident. He was a proud graduate of Flint Hollow School and attended Seymour High School. Frank was saved at the age of 24, he was a devoted and faithful Christian and a longtime member of the Seymour First Baptist Church. Frank was a 64-year member of the Masonic Lodge.
He served in the United States Army. He was a lifelong farmer, entrepreneur, and “trader”. One of his achievements that he was most proud of is being one of the founders of the Seymour High School FFA and continued to be a part of their program until his health would no longer allow him to do so.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Freda Philpott, and Jualeta Ward; his brother, Wayne Ipock; and one son-in-law, David Callaway.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Ipock; one daughter, Linda Callaway of Springfield; one son, Paul and Robin Ipock of Seymour; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and another on the way and will be here in December; a special friend, Julie Williams of Seymour.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023, in Seymour First Baptist Church, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in Seymour Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Seymour First Baptist Church.
