James Thomas Letterman

James Thomas Letterman, Marshfield, MO, was born August 15, 1934 in Northview, MO to Fred and Etta (Cameron) Letterman, and departed this life on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Springfield, MO at the age of 83.

James worked for many years for Wayne Metals and for M.F.A. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Galloway Full Gospel Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Mildred; his second wife, Colleen; his third wife, Verna; his fourth wife, Shirley; his brother, Raymond; and his granddaughter, Heather.

James is survived by four sons, Jerry Letterman and Vickie, Marshfield, MO, Carl Hamrick, Springfield, MO, Dennis Hamrick, Springfield, MO, and Mark Hamrick and Rachelle, Enid, OK; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Letterman, Jr. and Edna, Stratford, OK.

Funeral services for James Letterman will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral Friday from noon-1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
