Glenna Jo Lasater

 
 

Glenna Jo Lasater (Pratt) was born May 31, 1940, in Yardelle, Arkansas to William Arvil and Robbie Marie Pratt. Glenna passed away peacefully at home with family, September 30, 2024, at the age of 84.

Glenna was one of seven children. She grew up in Anderson, Missouri.  She attended Anderson High School where she was a cheerleader and graduated in 1958.  She met Jerry Dale Lasater at a Valentine’s Day dance in 1959 and they married on May 22, 1959 in Miami, Oklahoma.  Glenna was a homemaker and upon moving to Marshfield, Missouri worked most of her career as the City Clerk of Marshfield until her retirement. She always enjoyed cooking, baking pies, shopping, dancing and antiquing.  She had a kind, generous heart and always wanted the best for everyone.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children Karen Jo (Steve) Steury of Rogersville, Randall Dale (Beth) Lasater of Lebanon, and Jerry Kevin Lasater (Tona) of Columbia; three grandchildren Madeline Nicole Lasater, Ethan Lasater Steury and Rachel Jo Steury, brothers Junior (Janice) Pratt, Bill (Sandy) Pratt; sisters Fern Cooper, Bert (Bing) Bush and numerous nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dale Lasater, her parents, two sisters Marie Kennedy and Carolyn Sue Allison, two brother in laws Mark Cooper and Bud Kennedy.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Peace Valley Cemetery, Anderson, MO. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., 1131 State Hwy. A, Marshfield, MO.
