Allen Lee Messimore

Allen Lee Messimore, Marshfield, was born June 19, 1950 in Afton, OK to Delbert and Emma (Shepherd) Messimore. He departed this life on December 10, 2022 in his home at the age of 72.

Allen was a Vietnam Veteran who had served in the United States Army, and was a VFW member. He had worked as a mechanic. Allen was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Messimore; and his brothers and sisters.

Allen is survived by five children: Jeannie Turlington, TX, Allen Messimore, SD, Sami Camp, OK, Jennie Messimore, Marshfield, and James Crider, Elkland; his sister-in-law, Connie Messimore, Grove, OK, and several grandchildren.

Services in Oklahoma will be at a later date. Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
