Eva M. Rickstrew

Eva Mayme Rickstrew, Springfield, was born January 25, 1952 in Excelsior Springs, MO, to Albert and Lula (Manley) Bylieu. She departed this life on July 18, 2023 in Birchpoint Nursing Home, Springfield, at the age of 71.

Eva loved horseback riding. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, tending to her chickens, and watching westerns.  She also liked spending time boating and fishing. Eva had worked as a supervisor in a sheltered workshop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Lee Rickstrew; seven brothers and sisters.

Eva is survived by her son, Roy Rickstrew and his wife Sheree, Springfield; her sister, Audrey Fields, Gladstone; two grandchildren, Ashlee Ayres and Patrick Ayres; and one great-grandchild, Metias Patrick Ayres.

Graveside services for Eva Rickstrew will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Welch Cemetery, Northview, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
