James B. "Jim" Savas

James B. “Jim” Savas, was born December 14, 1962, in Illinois, to Peter George and Shirley (Owens) Savas. He departed this life January 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 59.

Jim had worked as a 911 dispatcher in Christian County, MO. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jim is survived by his brothers, George Savas (Dianne), Oklahoma; Bill Savas (Tina), Marshfield; his nieces and nephews; and other family members.

Graveside services at Missouri Veterans Cemetery will be at noon, Thursday, April 14, 2022 under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
